Founding The Healing Academy

In November 2023, The Healing Academy opened its doors, fulfilling a 20-year dream to create a collaborative and contemporary space for mental health services. What began as a solo journey has blossomed into a thriving practice of six skilled therapists, offering a diverse range of mental wellness services and comprehensive private evaluations.

Our mission is to provide a supportive environment where clients and therapists alike feel empowered to grow. I am deeply humbled to witness the autonomous, inclusive, and compassionate culture we’ve cultivated, and I’m excited to continue expanding our offerings to meet the evolving needs of our community.

About Me

My passion lies in helping families, adolescents, and children foster greater peace, connection, and balance in their relationships and home lives. I am equally dedicated to supporting caregivers as they navigate the challenges of stress, anxiety, depression, and burnout.

I also work with adults seeking guidance through life transitions, relationship challenges, and overall wellness goals, offering a compassionate and collaborative approach to therapy.

Beyond my work as a therapist, I serve as an adjunct professor at Southeast Missouri State University, where I guide and inspire future counselors. I also provide supervision for counseling licensure and offer consultation services, supporting fellow clinicians on their professional journeys.
