Meet Dana Dickerson

Dana graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts Degree in Guidance and Counseling.  She holds the following certifications:  Elementary Education, 1-8; English/Language Arts, 7-9; Counseling K-12; and Psychological Examiner, K-12.  She is trained in Orton Gillingham reading interventions and through Project Access in diagnostics and programming for students with autism.  She worked in the public school system for 38 years as a teacher, counselor, supervisor of education at an inpatient treatment center, special education process coordinator, and psychological examiner.  She also provided Orton Gillingham tutoring services for six years.  She is excited to bring her love of children, knowledge of diagnostics, academic interventions, and knowledge of navigating the public school system to our clients.
